Christian Bale Arrest Update

Christian Bale is in a little bit of a mess right now involving his family. Apparently he was arrested and questioned by the police for a report of assault by his mother and sister. He voluntarily went to the police and sat there for hours being questioned, but no charges were filed.

TMZ thinks he may have been arrested for Verbal Assault. TMZ.com

The actors reps have made a statement.

"Christian Bale attended a London Police station today, on a voluntary basis, in order to assist with an allegation that had been made against him to the police by his mother and sister. Mr Bale who denies the allegation, co-operated throughout, gave his account in full of the events in question, and has left the station without any charge being made against him by the Police.

At this time, there will be no further comment by Mr Bale."

I wanted to wait to post about this until more details were released. Christian Bale is extremely private. And he doesn't have a history with type of thing. This seems like a screaming match and someone got upset and called the police. If he had done something wrong they would have arrested him.

Again I wanted to wait because people were gossiping that he might have physically assaulted his mom or his sister and I knew that wasn't true. Also when it comes to these sort of things and actors, sometimes you got to be careful. It seems that every actor has someone crazy in their family and does this sort of thing to seek attention. I am not suggesting that this is the case now. But I wanted to wait for more details.

I stand by my man. That's what real women do. And if he was guilty of something awful like assault on a woman, I wouldn't support him.

If it were true, a piece of me on the inside would have died a little bit. It would shatter my imaginary life with Bale. But since it appears to be about some argument and not violence, I can continue to live my life with him in my head.

UPDATE: After reading some posts on Digg.com and various blog sites, they all seem to think and are quick to judge that he beat up his mother and sister. It's fucking bullshit. And those two better fucking get out there and make a statement apologizing for the drama. An argument. That's all it was a screaming match and now he is public enemy number 1 in the court of public opinion.
